The first documented Jewish resident of Sherbrooke arrived in the 1860's. Since that time hundreds of Jewish families have lived there. This site will document a part of their story.

It will eventually include all of the Jewish residents of Sherbrooke from about 1860, when the first Jewish family emmigrated there, to about 1987 when the communities synagogue was finally sold.
